I was doing some work on RPG Audio Mixer tonight, which means I was listening to lots of Jeremy Soule music. He’s done a ton of video game music, including my two absolute favorites: Neverwinter Nights and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. I decided to check out his site and see if he finally has a CD out, but he doesn’t.
What he does have is a new service called Direct Song. Apparently the site is for “Game Music Expansions”. It uses Windows DRM, which is kind of annoying, but it does let you burn them to CD, so I’m wondering if I can burn them, then re-rip them as MP3s so that I might use them in RPG Audio Mixer. Unfortunately my purchase doesn’t seem to have been processed yet, so I can’t let you know if that’s possible yet or not.
